A resident of Uzhgorod addressed the city police department with a statement. The woman said that in the yard of the house where she resides, her 7-year-old daughter was knocked down by a car. Instead of helping the injured schoolgirl the driver disappeared from the scene. The child (fortunately, she wasn’t injured badly) was brought to the hospital by an “ambulance”.
For the commission of the accident the traffic police detained a 66-year citizen, the owner of the VAZ-2106. The car was taken to the impound lot. The owner will be brought to criminal liability.
