In Uzhgorod divers are looking, for a man who went swimming and did not return

The accident happened last night, at about 3:00 am, on Kanalna Street.

According to the Main Office of the National Police of Transcarpathia, law enforcement officers received a report of a possible drowning of a young man, born in 1991.

Arriving at the scene, the investigative team found out that a group of people were having a party and drinking alcohol. One of them walked towards the canal and did not return.

The State Emergencies Service of Ukraine Office reported that divers are still working at the scene. The search operations are hampered the by muddy water.
