In Uzhgorod district two more candidates withdrew their candidacies in favor of the opposition nominee

This week, two more candidates for election to the Transcarpathian Regional Council for constituency number 51 withdrew their candidacies in favor of the nominee of the All-Ukrainian Union "Batkivshchyna" Ivan Biben. In particular, Serhiy Frint of the party "United Center" and Mykhailo Huha, a candidate of the party "United Ukraine".

"Withdrawing my candidacy in favor of Ivan Biben, having considered all the "pros" and "contras", realistically evaluated my chances, I clearly realize that Ivan Biben will adequately represent the interests of Uzhgorod district residents in the Regional Council. I am sure that such candidates are needed in the regional parliament. He is from the new generation of politicians, unbiased and responsible, capable not only to identify a problem, but also to take personal responsibility for taken decisions," – Serhiy Frint said.

Earlier, the candidate of "People’s Labour Union of Ukraine" Kostyantin Kutsov and the candidate of the Reform and Order Party Yuri Staso announced their decisions to quit the election in favor of Ivan Biben.
