Yesterday, a security unit of the "Druzhba" pipeline line section, during the diagnostics of the pipeline, owned by the "UkrTransNafta" JSC, between the villages of Chaslivci and Rativtsi in Uzhgorod district, in the field at a depth of about 60 centimeters, found an illegal tie-in in the pipeline. The offenders were stealing fuel, by welding an about 10 centimeteres long metal branch with a closed ball valve to a short metal pipe.
No oil leaks and threats to the environment were detected.
