At the city council session the members supported the draft resolution "On approval of privatization of communal property of Uzhgorod for the years 2013-2015 and the list of public utilities to be privatized in the first quarter of 2013".
The program approves the "rules" of privatization processes, in particular the mechanism of auctions. However, what concerns the objects themselves (and their list is attached to the draft decision), it is "covered with darkness" – a list of public property which is subject to privatization, is apparently known only to the deputies. Despite the requirements of the law and the procedure of publication of session draft decisions, the list of objects is not on the City Council site, and it was not announced at the session. Apparently, the community will be learning about the sale of objects that belong to them, after the deed is done …
