In Uzhgorod castle there is the Slovak museum exhibition

Transcarpathian Uzhgorod Castle Museum invites Uzhgorod residents and guests to visit museum exhibitions.

In particular, we recommend to see the exposition on the history of Uzhgorod and Uzhgorod castle "Ancient Castle on Uzh", on the history of intellectual culture in Transcarpathia. Also visit the exhibition of weapons and firearms of XVI – early XX century, folk musical instruments and folk clothing of Transcarpathia. 

Book lovers will be interested to see the exhibition of old prints and icons of VIII – early XX century, and the memorial room of the Carpathian Ukraine President Augustin Voloshin. Particular attention should also be paid to the international exhibition of the Slovakian Ľubovňa museum "Dialogues."

The museum is open daily, except Monday, from 10.00 to 17.00.
