Transcarpathian regional territorial office of the Antimonopoly Committee fined ME "Uzhgorod utilities group" of Uzhgorod City Council 10,000 UAH for abuse of dominant position on funeral services market.
As the office established, the company applied economically unreasonable prices for certain types of funeral services provided by the List of the required minimum for certain types of funeral services.
This was made possible by the use of an excessive level of return in the amount of 20%, which contradicts the Unified method for determining the value of certain types of funeral services provided to citizens according to the List of the required minimum. According to the Method, the level of return can not exceed 12%.
The violation continued during 2011-2012.
In determining the amount of fine, it was taken into account that the company had admitted and stopped the violations during the proceedings.
