In Uzhgorod, advertisement posters were caught “red-handed”

Yetsterday, two posters of advertisements, which cover fences, buildings and even trees in Uzhgorod like wallpaper, were caught "red-handed" by officers of the municipal police department of the City Council.

One man, in violation of Street maintenance rules, was "working" on Cyril and Methodius Square, the other one – in the center near the "green market". Reports of administrative offenses were drawn up against both of them, they face up to 1,340 UAH fine.

In Uzhgorod, there are several companies engaged in mass posting of advertising papers that litter the city. Despite repeated fines, the commercial benefits of such a "spam" bring consumers a significant profit and they continue their activities after changing the names and offices.
