In Uzhgorod, a woman killed her husband with a knife

Yesterday, September 7, at about 19.25, paramedics reported that they had stated the death of a 49-year-old resident of the city of Uzhgorod with visible body injuries. 
Investigators of the Uzhgorod Police Department found out that in the evening, at the victim’s place of residence, an altercation had arisen between him and his 47-year-old wife. During the conflict, the woman stabbed and cut her husband with a kitchen knife. The man died on the spot from injuries. 
An investigation over this incident has been initiated. The incident was registered in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations on the grounds of Part 1 of Art. 115 (Murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The physical evidence – knife – was seized by law enforcement officers. The woman was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the CPC of Ukraine and sent to a temporary detention facility. The police are now investigating all the circumstances and the cause of the conflict. Source.Police of Transcarpathian region
