September 14, Uzhgorod residents recorded the fact of inadequate driving on the bypass road by a tractor driver. The heavy vehicle was wobbling, the driver drove onto the oncoming lane and eventually got in an accident, damaging 50 meters of a barrier.
Patrol police received a report of an accident and alleged drunk driving on September 14 around 2 pm. Upon the arrival of the crew, the culprit could not be found at the scene and on adjacent stretches. However, recently Uzhgorod patrol policemen managed to find the driver of the tractor. Having established the circumstances, the policemen identified the man involved in the accident.
October 16, the policemen received an explanation from the head of the company where the offender works. The director confirmed that at that time one of his drivers was returning, probably by the road where the accident took place. The driver himself admitted having committed the accident but denied being drunk, attributing the inadequate behavior on the road to a sudden deterioration in health.
The patrol polcicemen drew up two reports against the tractor driver: for the accident and disappearance from the scene.
