In Uzhgorod, a suicide attacked his saviors (PHOTOS)

June 22, in Uzhgorod, bystanders witnessed a shocking picture. An unknown man, whether due to overheating, or for other reasons, climbed over the railing of the pedestrian bridge and jumped headlong down.

After a short flight, Uzhgorod Icarus lost consciousness, and his body for a while was laying in the water like a log. Journalist Mykhailo Fedyshynets, who was walking the embankment, but did not see the the fall, rushed to rescue the victim.

The Uzh river is now quite shallow. Nevertheless, a poor fellow not only survived the fall, but did not even receive any serious injuries. And, having recovered, he jumped to his feet and attacked his savior with cobblestones. 

But this was not enough for him, and he started to beat himself with river stones over the head. Then, the man fainted again and fell into the water. Again passersby tried to get him to the shore, but the man came to consciousness and again lashed out at his rescuers.

Overall, this "extraordinary" incident with an attempted suicide, attacks on journalists and passers-by and disobedience to law enforcement officers lasted almost two hours and attracted a considerable audience. The police finished it by arresting that violent jumper. Uzhgorod residents thanked the police officers for work with applause.
