In Uzhgorod, a man burned on fire

Yesterday, the Rescue Service received a report of a fire in a residential house at: Uzhgorod, Starodomanynska street.

Crews of the 14th and the 15th State Fire and Rescue Units were immediately sent at the scene. In total, 3 vehicles and 17 personnel members were engaged.

When extinguishing a fire in a room of the house, rescuers found the body of a man with no signs of life. The victim was a 43-year-old cousin of the house owner.

The fire destroyed windows, doors, furniture and household items and also damaged floor and ceiling of the house.

The amount of damage and the cause of fire is under investigation.
