In Uzhgorod, a judge of the Regional Appeal Court was attacked

January 14, a resident of Uzhgorod, a judge of the Regional Appeal Court reported to Uzhgorod police that he had been attacked. The operative team left for the scene.
  As a result of inspection of the scene and previous interrogation of the victim, a verbal description of the assailant was made. This fact was entered into the single register of pre-trial investigation. The offense is pre-classiified under Part 2 of Art. 377 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Threats or violence against a judge, assessor or juror).
Sanction of the article provides a punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty for up to five years, or imprisonment for up to six years. The pre-trial investigation continues, – informed the Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region.
