In Uzhgorod, a drunk driver ran into an ambulance and fled the scene

Yesterday, at about 10:30 pm, patrol officers received a report of an accident at the intersection of Sobranetska and Mytna streets in Uzhgorod. 
At the scene, they found out that the driver of a car Volkswagen was leaving a minor road and collided with an ambulance vehicle moving on the main road. After that, the culprit fled the scene of the accident. Fortunately, no one was injured in the ambulance. 
Patrol police crews received the description of the vehicle, and already at about 00.30, they found the car with corresponding mechanical damage near Petofi Square.  The patrol policemen found out that the culprit of the accident was drunk.     
Patrolmen drew up several reports of administrative offenses. In particular, for the commission of an accident (Art.124 of the CAO), for leaving the accident scene (Art.122-4 of the CAO) and for driving a vehicle in a state of intoxication (Part 1 of Art.130 of the CAO).
