In Uzhgorod, a driver lost control and ran over a teenager

Today, in the regional center of Transcarpathia, a driver hit a 14-year-old pedestrian.

On December 10, at 08:25, an emergency doctor reported to the police that in Uzhgorod a car had hit a minor pedestrian.

Investigators, who arrived at the scene, found out that a 70-year-old resident of the regional center of Transcarpathia driving a car Renault on 8 Bereznya street had lost control and hit a 14-year-old Uzhgorod resident. The boy sufferred numerous injuries.

The police opened criminal proceedings over the incident under Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, ie violation of traffic safety rules. The car was taken to the impound lot of the Uzhgorod Police Department. Law enforcement officers are establishing all the circumstances of the accident, the communication department of the Transcarpathian regional police informed.
