Uzhgorod rescuers received the report of a fire in the car BMW on Griboyedov street on December 23 at 19:02.
A local resident noticed the fire that and called "101".
Before the arrival of fire fighters, workers of a car repair shop located nearby began to extinguish flames in the car. The job was finished by fire fighters of the 15th State Fire and Rescue Unit, who localized the fire at 19:30, and 15 minutes later completely extinguished it.
The fire destroyed the rear bumper, rear lights, glass, hood, rubber parts of the engine compartment and front grill. In addition, the trunk, the left wing, the front bumper and the front left headlight were damaged.
The final cause and damages caused by the fire will be established by the police. They are considering many versions, arson is not ruled out, the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region reported.
