Recently, employees of the post office in the village of V.Lazy reported a theft to Tyachiv District Police. The investigative team immediately arrived at the scene.
Law enforcement officers found out that unknown persons had entered into the post office, which is located in the village of Vilkhivski Lazy, through a window and stolen from there a metal casket which contained stamps and lottery tickets. The amount of property damage caused is being established.
– The criminal proceedings have been opened over this incident under Part 3 of Art.185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (theft, coupled with breaking and entering). The offenders face punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of 3 to 6 years – the Deputy Chief of Tyachiv District Police Lieutenant Colonel Igor Nemesh said.
