In Tyachiv district, unidentified bandits attacked the prior of a monastery

Robbers armed with a gun beat up a priest and took a large sum of money. The bandits are wanted by the police.

 Last Saturday, in the middle of the night, Tyachiv District Police received a telephone message from a resident of the village of Bedevlya in Tyachiv District, the prior of the local monastery. 

The applicant reported that around one in the morning, four unknown men had entered his home by damaging a window in the basement. The bandits had masks on their heads with slits for the eyes. In the bedroom, they beat the owner with a rubber stick and threatening him with a gun, took the cash in amount of 60,000 UAH and 1,000 UAH. Then, they tied up the victim’s hands, feet, blinded him with a tape and left the house. 

The investigative team was sent to the scene. This incident was registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations, the preliminary legal qualification of the criminal offense is Part 3 of Art.187 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (robbery, combined with breaking and entering). The attackers are wanted. 

Their description: 170-180 cm tall, medium build. Two of them were wearing dark-colored jackets and pants, one was wearing sweatpants and white and gray sneakers. They had gloves on their hands and black woven masks with slits for the eyes of their faces.
