The Prosecutor of Tyachiv district proved in court the legal right of two children to the inherited house that was left to them after the death of their mother.
According to the Prosecutor of Tyachiv district Stepan Zhovnir, the prosecutors found out that two children after their mother’s death inherited a house worth about 600,000 UAH. However, neither the older brother, who is currently studying full time in a university, nor 15-year-old younger sister, who is studying in a local school, were able to defend their rights in court.
Therefore, the prosecution office, to protect housing and property rights of the children, filed a claim with Tyachiv District Court for recognition of the children’s title to the specified property which was upheld in full.
