In Tyachiv district, the police arrested a drunk driver who had hit a cyclist and fled

Yesterday evening, Tyachiv police received a report that in the village of Hrushevo, a car had hit a person, and the driver had fled. The 33-year-old victim died. Witnesses reported that the accident had been committed by a black jeep that drove toward Solotvyno. 

The fugitive was found in Solotvyno. As it turned out, the jeep "Suzuki", which had hit the cyclist, was driven by a 53-year-old resident of Ternopil region, a private entrepreneur. The driver was intoxicated. 

Criminal proceedings over this incident have been initiated. The driver was arrested, the car was taken to the impound lot.
