October 28, the Chief of Dubove Department of Labor and Social Welfare of Tyachiv District State Administration was arrested when receiving $ 2500 of undue benefit.
According to the Tyachiv District Prosecutor Vladislav Bratyuk, officers of Tyachiv District Police arrested the official "red-handed" and seized from him the cash that he had received from a woman. In return for the said amount of money, he promised the woman to assist her in finding employment at the Dubove Department of Labor and Social Welfare of Tyachiv DSA. October 28, the official was notified of suspision of committing a criminal offense under Part 4 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, on the same day he was detained in accordance with Part 1 of Art. 208 of the CPC of Ukraine.Currently, other necessary investigative (detective) activities are being conducted to establish all the circumstances of the incident. The issue of the application of preventive measures against the suspect and removing him from the office are being considered.The regional Prosecutor’s office ensured the control over the pre-trial investigation.
