"Sources of the Tolerance" camp, founded by the Congress of National Communities of Ukraine with the support of international charities, was opened in the village of Chynadiyevo in Transcarpathia.
According to the initiator of the camp, a Kyiv teacher Anna Lenchovska, the camp is aimed not only for health care of the children, but also to familiarize them with the history, culture and traditions of ethnic groups who live in Ukraine.
National days, Human Rights Day, Festival of Languages and Citizen’s Day – this summer, about two hundred children of primary and secondary school age – the representatives of the Armenian, Greek, Polish, Roma, Russian and Hungarian communities in Ukraine – will take part in the events, the President of the Congress of National Communities of Ukraine Yosyp Zissels told Radio Svoboda.
