In Transcarpathian region, a storm warning has been declared

Deteriorating weather conditions and the prevention of its possible effects was discussed on Thursday, September 26, during the meeting of the operational center to coordinate measure on
the prevention and elimination of emergency situations, headed by the First Deputy Governor Igor Svyshcho.

Tonight, the deterioration of weather conditions is expected in the region, and therefore a storm warning has been declared. According to weather forecasts, from 26 to 27 of September heavy rains and hail storms are expected in the region, sometimes strong wind up to 15-20 m / s. In addition, at night on 27 and 28 September, in the mountains of the region, a frost in the air and on the ground is predicted. So the issue of the beginning of the heating season in the mountainous regions of Transcarpathia is currently very topical.

As the committee members assured, all institutions and services in charge of public safety during severe weather conditions are in full readiness.

– All specialized services should be prepared to eliminate possible effects of the weather. Cold season is coming. And despite the vagaries of the weather, Transcarpathians should not feel any
inconveniences – Igor Svyshcho said during the committee meeting.
