Police detained two residents of Transcarpathia who had come to the territory of a company in Vynogradiv and started firing non-lethal pistols. Three people were injured. Investigators are conducting a pre-trial investigation into this incident.
Transcarpathian police promptly solved a crime in Vynogradiv. The incident was reported around 8:45 pm yesterday, September 9. Having arrived at the scene, the police established that at 8:30 pm unknown persons had come to the territory of a local agricultural processing plant, started a conflict with the people there and used weapons.
As a result of the fight between the attackers and three brothers, who were at the premises, the latters were injured. The criminals themselves fled from the scene in an unknown direction.
They were found thanks to the professional work of operatives and investigators. The police found out that a 16-year-old man from Mukachevo and an 18-year-old resident of the village of Velyki Komyaty, Vynogradiv district, were involved in the crime. The weapon which the criminals had fired was confiscated. It is believed to be a non-lethal pistol.
The attackers were detained and placed in a temporary detention center. They are charged with a crime under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal code of Ukraine, that is hooliganism committed using weapons. The case is under pre-trial investigation, during which the police will establish all the circumstances of the crime. Detainees face up to three to seven years in prison.
