In Volovets district, police caught two women on a theft from a chapel 
As reported by the communication department of the regional police, today, March 29, the police received from a resident of the village of Verkhni Vorota, Volovets district, a report about the theft of money from a local chapel. The applicant also reported that she had noticed two women who might be involved in the crime near the building.
“Officers of the investigation team who arrived at the scene identified the persons involved in the theft. Two local women, aged 19 and 22, entered the chapel, broke the donation box and stole money. The police seized the cash from one of them as material evidence,” – the statement reads.
The women are charged with a criminal offense under Article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – theft. Police officers are now taking all necessary investigative measures to document the crime.
