To strengthen the western border, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine are taking active measures aimed at countering illegal activities at the border. In particular, those are reduction of tobacco smuggling, preventing attempts of illegal migration and other forms of illegal activity at the border.
Therefore, to intimidate border guards, offenders often resort to threats, destruction of or damage to personal property of officers of the State Border Guard Service.
Thus, last night, unknown persons made several shots at the window of the house where a soldier of the Chop detachment lives with his family. In addition, the attackers damaged the car standing in the yard of the house.
Please note that in all such incidents. the border guard agency will conduct checks and protect the rights of their officers who faithfully guard the interests of our country. Violators, who resort to threats, will not go unnoticed by law enforcement and will be brought to responsibility in accordance with the law.
