In Transcarpathia, tourists from Kharkiv region got lost

Yesterday, in Transcarpathia, in Rakhiv district, near the village of Bogdan, a group of tourists from Kharkiv got lost. The tourist route, which five men and a woman took, runs in close proximity to the border between Ukraine and Romania. Due to loss of orientation the tourists ended up in neighboring Romania, where they were noticed by border guards and returned to Ukraine. The persons were taken to the Department of Border Guard Service "Bogdan" and repeatedly briefed. The management of the Mukachevo border guard detachment appeals to all citizens, who want to hike along the routes running in close proximity to the state border, with a request to comply with the established procedure of tourist voyages.
