In Transcarpathia, three cars collided in an accident

As a result of the collision of the cars "Opel", "Mercedes" and "Chrysler" on the highway near the village of N.Koropets in Mukachevo district, three victims were hospitalized. The culprit of the accident – a 55-year-old driver of the "Opel" – is in intensive care.

Yesterday in the morning, on the road near the village of Nyzhniy Koropets in Mukachevo district, there was an accident involving three cars. Three victims are in the hospital; one driver is in intensive care with a polytrauma.

The culprit of the accident was a 55-year-old resident of the village of Zhnyatyno in Mukachevo district. Driving a car "Opel", the man lost control and drove into the oncoming lane. There, the "Opel" collided with a minibus "Mercedes Sprinter" driven by a 29-year resident of the village of Chynadiyevo. After the impact, the "Mercedes" slid into a ditch and overturned.

 Then, the "Opel" collided with a car "Chrysler", which was moving behind the "Mercedes" and driven by a 53-year-old resident of Mukachevo.

Due to an accident, three people were hospitalized: the driver of the "Opel", the driver of the "Mercedes" and a 32-year-old passenger of the "Chrysler". The first one is in the most difficult condition – he is in intensive care with a polytrauma.

The police started criminal proceeding over this incident, the cars were taken to the police impound lot. The test showed that all three drivers were sober. Investigators are establishing the circumstances of the Mukachevo accident
