In Transcarpathia there will be a religious tourist route

"The tourist route to the common religious and cultural heritage" includes joint tourist products, that will popularize religious objects in the cross-border region, reported the press service of the Transcarpathian Regional Council.
Within the project, on January 4, 2013 at Transcarpathian Regional Council there was a seminar of representatives of partner organizations and experts involved in cross-border project Cross Border Cooperation Programme Hungary-Slovakia-Romania Ukraine 2007 – 2013 of the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument.The workshop participants discussed the concept of developing a project website, a schedule of video shooting and organizing scientific symposium on the subject of the project.The project assumes that in the second half of January, a group of Hungarian TV journalists who work on the preparation of the video will film a piece about churches of Transcarpathia included in the project.The participants agreed on the procedure for preparing and conducting scientific seminar on the problems of the project. It is planned to be held during 2 days from January 31, to February 1, 2013 in Uzhgorod, which will also include sightseeing with visits to some of the items that will be included in the tour itinerary.
