In Transcarpathia, the winners of national student competitions received awards

This year, Transcarpathia has 34 winners of national student competitions and 15 winners of the national stage of the competition-defense of scientific and research works of the Junior Academy of Sciences.

On August 25, during the celebrations, the young intellectuals and their teachers were greeted by the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal.

The winners of the national competitions received 4000 UAH for the first places, 3000 UAH – for the second places, and 2000 UAH – for the third places. Cash prizes were allocated under to the Regional Education Development Program. Teachers, who trained them, also received prizes. 8000 UAH – for the first place, 6000 UAH – for the second place and 4000 UAH – for the third place.

The medal "25 Years of Independence" was awarded to the headmaster of Uzhgorod higher vocational school of trade and food technology Victor Koshchak, the headmaster of secondary school of Uzhgorod Victor Polishchuk, the head of the deoartment of Transcarpathian regional center of scientific and technical creativity Tetyana Levlyas and Adriana Lukach – the head of the regional methodical center at the Department of Education and Science of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.

Olena Hanych – chemistry teacher of Storozhnytsia secondary school – was awarded with the diploma of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
