In Transcarpathia, the Security Service of Ukraine and local combatant activists have agreed on cooperation in the field of security in the region.

The agreement was reached during the meeting of the head of the Security Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region Oleg Voyevodin with local activists: participant of the ATO Mykola Marchyshak, "cyborgs" Mykola Minyo and Roman Trubin and the head of the Regional Union of War Veterans Mykhailo Kutskir.

The participants discussed pressing issues on combating smuggling, crimes against national security of Ukraine, the illegal circulation of weapons and other relevant issues for the region. Also combatants volunteered to help the Office to prevent any threats and development of conflict situations.

Among other things, at the meeting they expressed concern about the information on the illegal stay of representatives of a volunteer battalion at the international checkpoint "Tisa".

According to Oleg Voyevodin, the management of the Regional Security Service of Ukraine Office and the Department of National Police conducted a conversation with representatives of the volunteer battalion. As it turned out, they want to assist law enforcement agencies in combating crimes at the border, including smuggling, acts of corruption, and so on. The head of the Office assured that there are no grounds for concern.
