In Transcarpathia, the Security Service of Ukraine has announced a formal warning to one of the local representatives of the Hungarian Jobbik party

On May 31, this year, officers of the Security Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region announced a formal warning to a local resident who is a member of the Hungarian radical rightwing political party Jobbik. This citizen, with the assistance of the Jobbik leaders, planned to organize on June 3, 2016, in the region a campaign "Homecoming. Hungarians on the Veretsky pass," dedicated the anniversary of signing of the Trianon peace treaty in 1920. On his page in one of the social networks this local resident also expressed sympathy with the idea of ​​restoring the so-called "Great Hungary".

In addition, this person was a director of the charity fund "Office of the independent MEP Bela Kovacs," who is accused by the Hungarian Prosecutor General of spying for Russia and who was deprived of immunity by the European Parliament.

Officers of the Security Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region found out that this local resident acquired Hungarian citizenship against the current legislation of Ukraine. This citizen was officially warned about criminal responsibility for violation of territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine. He said he was willing to leave Jobbik and to end any relationship with this party.
