In Transcarpathia, the Secirity Service of Ukraine conducted a large-scale anti-terrorist training

The Coordination Group of the Antiterrorist Center at the Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region conducted planned tactical special training, the press center of the Security Service of Ukraine informed. The training, which took place in Velyky Berezny, Perechyn and Uzhgorod districts of the region in close to real conditions, involved units of the National Police, the National Guard, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service, the State Emergencies Service, the State Special Communication Service, representatives of local authorities and local self-government bodies. The purpose of the training was to improve interagency cooperation to prevent the sabotage and terrorist threats at high-risk facilities and in places of mass concentration of people. The security forces carried out a series of activities to neutralize mock terrorists, who, according to the scenario, were going to do a series of terrorist and sabotage acts at the critical infrastructure facilities of the region, and also planned provocations among the civilian population. As a result of the effective and concerted actions of the special forces, the "saboteurs" were neutralized, the aftermath of their subversive activities was contained.
