Members of the Regional Council adopted the regional budget for 2014. This year, it was approved two weeks after the adoption of the main financial document of the country, as stipulated in the Budget Code.
The total revenue to the regional budget for 2014 is projected at 3,221,204,200 UAH, including the equalization grant and the additional grant to equalize the financial security of local budgets in amount of 743,557,500 UAH. The most significant source of revenue for the regional budget is tax on personal income. Its share in the revenues of the general and special funds of the budget is 76.8%. Total expenditures of the regional budget for 2014 is projected at 3,220,815,500 UAH.
As stated in the explanatory memorandum of the budget developer – the Department of Finance of the Regional State Administration, "the formation of the regional budget expenditures for 2014 was carried out based on the limited capacity of the budget resource part and the limited financial resources taking into account the need for fiscal austerity."
In addition, the regional council established the parliamentary group "People’s Council of Transcarpathia." Its members are Volodymyr Chubirko (UC), Anton Livrints (Batkivshchyna), Miroslav Biletsky (Front of Changes)
