In Transcarpathia, the police solved thefts in a seminary, a dormitory and a garage (PHOTOS)

The policemen of Uzhgorod, Tyachiv and Beregovo district identified the persons involved in the thefts. In all the proceedings, investigations are ongoing.

According to the communication department of the Transcarpathian regional police, three property crimes were solved last night.

In particular, officers of the Uzhgorod District Police Department together with the patrol policemen of the Patrol Police Department quickly solved the theft from the premises of the seminary in the village of Mynai.

"An unknown person entered an unlocked room and stole money and jewelry from the wallet belonging to a 29-year-old resident of the same village. The police quickly found out that the theft had been committed by a 39-year-old resident of Mukachevo," – the police informed.

It was noted that the woman involved in the crime was detained. Her stolen things were seized. The police opened a criminal investigation into the criminal offense.

It was also reported that Tyachiv police officers identified the person who had stolen power tools from the garage of a local resident.

"It was found out that a 41-year-old man had broken into to a garage and stolen three angle grinders and a saw, causing to the victim losses in the amount of 4 thousand hryvnias. The man then sold the stolen items. The investigation continues," – the report states. 

In addition, officers of the Beregovo Police Department solved a property crime.

"During the operational search activities, the police officers found out that a 19-year-old man had committed a theft from a local dormitory. The man is also suspected of committing four other property crimes. Pre-trial investigations are ongoing", – the communication department of the Transcarpathian regional police informed.
