In Transcarpathia, the police prevented illegal border crossing by a group of immigrants from West African countries.
Two foreigners, who have long been living legally in our country, last weekend tried to smuggle illegal migrants from Africa to the EU. Border guards detained a car with illegal migrants 800 meters to the Ukrainian-Hungarian border.
Two organizers of trafficking were notified of being suspected of a crime under Part 2 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The court imposed pretrial restraint on the criminals – detention with 40,000 UAH bail for one, and house arrest for another.
The pretrial investigation continues.
