The regional authorities plan to increase limits of two national parks – the "Synevyr" in Mizhhirya district and the "Zacharovany Krai" in Irshava district.
In the regional state administration, working groups were formed that have to summarize the information and to submit agreed proposals to the regional state administration by June 22. The head of the working groups is Mykhailo Rivis.
The total area of the park "Zacharovany Krai" is 6101 hectares, including 5649 hectares of land of the state enterprise "Zahattya forestry" and 452 hectares of land of the branch number 1 "Irshava Forestry" of the state enterprise "Ahrospetsservis."
The area of the national park "Synevyr" is 40400 hectares, 5807 hectares of which is reserved for the protected zone.
