In Transcarpathia, the level of industrial production has fallen by 16%

During the seven months of this year, the industrial output in the region compared to the corresponding period of 2014 has decreased by 15.7% (throughout Ukraine, the decline amounts to 19.5%). Decline in production has been recorded in the processing inductry of the region by 18%, in mining and processing industry – by 17.7%, in mining industry and development of quarries – by 7.3%, and in electricity, gas, steam and conditioned air supply – by 0.4%. The growth of output has been achieved only in the production of chemical products by 7.3%.

The total volume of sales in selling prices in January-June 2015 amounted to UAH 6 billion 649.7 million against UAH 4 billion 898.9 million in the corresponding period of 2014. In the structure of industrial production of the region, the leaders are processing industry – 81%, mining industry and development of quarries – 1.4%, electricity, gas, steam and conditioned air supply – 17.2%.
