In Transcarpathia, the authorities will cut expenditures for publishing

In 2014, the regional government plans to spend on the program to support publication of local authors’ books only 100,000 UAH.  For these funds, they plan to publish a collection of the Carpathian Euroregion authors "Shevchenko’s Star over the Carpathians" and books for the 25th anniversary of the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan.

In 2013, they spent on publication of Transcarpathian authors almost three times more money – 276,000. For these funds, they conducted competitive bidding for the publication of eight books – Vasyl Habda’s artworks, "Seven Angels Blared…" by Andriy Durund, "ABC of Nature" by Lyudmila Kudryavska, "All for 14 Kopiykas or Sonnet Yard" by Vasyl Kuzan, "White Castle Tell Tales" by Petro Sova, "Captives of the Forest" by Volodymyr Fedynyshynets, "Mystery of the Spruce Forest" by Vasyl Shkirya.
