In Transcarpathia, residents of villages can receive preferential loans for housing construction

The working group to draft regional target program "Own House" for 2016 – 2020 has been established in the region.

The head of the working group is the Deputy Governor Mykhailo Rivis. The working group is tasked to identify key indicators of the regional target program "Own House" and to develop rules for providing preferential loans for borrowers under the regional target program.

 
 The program shall be submitted for approval by the deputies of the Regional Council.

The program provides for loans to the rural population under 3% per annum for the construction of housing.  Since 2007, more than UAH 66 million has been attracted under the program, half of which is the budget funds. Last year, more than 300 Transcarpathians received loans totaling UAH 8.4 million.
