In Transcarpathia, refugees may be settled in Tereblya

On Wednesday, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, deputy Valeriy Lunchenko, plans to hold a meeting in the village of Tereblya in Tyachiv district, in the newly erected neighbourhood. They will discuss the functioning of the housing complex for persons displaced from the dangerous zone in Solotvyno.

Recall that three years ago, a residential complex was built there: 8 apartment buildings (116 apartments), 17 family houses, a secondary school for 330 pupils, a pre-school for 140 children, and other social and welfare facilities. They constructed engineering water supply, sewerage, electricity, road infrastructure. In total, more than 120 million hryvnia of budget funds was spent. All this was for persons displaced from the dangerous zone in Solotvyno. However, so far, only 9 families have moved to Tereblya. Most apartments are vacant.

Due to the flow of refugees from the East of the country and from the Crimea, the regional aauthorities are considering their temporary accommodation in Tereblya. Currently, 199 persons have moved to the region from the Crimea, including 150 civilians and 49 soldiers with their families. From the East of the country 20 people have moved to the region, including five children, and the flow of refugees is increasing.
