Over the past day, officers of the Transcarpathian Patrol Police documented cases of driving under the influence of alcohol in Uzhgorod, Mukachevo, Perechyn, and Tyachiv districts. Three more drunk drivers were caught by the patrol police of the region. Appropriate reports of administrative offenses were drawn up against the offenders. This was reported by the official website of the Main Office of the National Police in Transcarpathian region.
In the village of Onokivtsi in Uzhgorod district, in the evening, police officers stopped a Skoda Oktavia because the rear registration plate was not illuminated, and the driver was not using a safety belt. The car was driven by a resident of Uzhgorod, who did not have a driver’s license and was in a state of intoxication. Drager showed 0.31 ppm of alcohol in his blood. Law enforcement officers made reports of administrative offense against the driver for driving in a state of intoxication and without a driver’s license.
In Perechyn, at night, officers of the Patrol Police Response Team stopped a Volkswagen Passat because driver was honking without any reason. The car was driven by a drunken resident of Velyky Berezny district. Drager showed 2.1 ppm of alcohol in his blood. Appropriate report of administrative offense was drawn up against the offender for driving in the state of intoxication, his driver’s license was seized.
In the village of Ternovo in Tyachiv district, police officers stopped a car VAZ-2105, which was making strange maneuvers. Having noticed the police car, the driver stopped in the middle of the road, left the car and tried to escape. He was caught. As it turned out, the man was in a state of intoxication and did not have any documents. During the medical examination at the hospital, 1.34 ppm of alcohol was found in his blood. The appropriate reports of admininstrative offenses were drawn up.
The case of driving under the influence was documented by officers of the Patrol Police Response Team of the Mukachevo department. Three more drunken drivers were caught by the officers of the regional patrol police.
All the reports of administrative offenses against the offenders under Art. 130 of the CAO (Driving a vehicle by a person who is in a state of alcohol intoxication) will be forwarded to the court for making a final decision.
