Yesterday, in Transcarpathia, border guards of the Chop detachment prevented an attempt of illegal transportation of a large amount of medications from Hungary to Ukraine.
When checking the border area, "green berets" of the department "Tisa" found 21 unknown packages. Related law enforcement agencies were immediately notified of this fact. During the inspection of the packages, border guards counted more than 20,500 pills of Italian production, 630 packs, 312 vials and 3 droppers.
The found medicines were seized. Currently, the measures to identify persons involved in illegal activities are being taken.
