In Transcarpathia, nearly 23 tons of cargo have been transported across the border

This amount has undergone customs formalities for 11 months in 2013 in the area of ​the Chop ​customs. In particular, almost 3.6 million vehicles, more than 8 million people and almost 22.7 thousand tons of cargo have crossed the border. For comparison – during the corresponding period in the last year – 3.5 million vehicles, 7.6 million people and 22.3 thousand tons of goods have crossed the border.

The Chop customs informed that there are 2226 entities engaged in foreign economic activities registered at their office, of which 1487 entities carried out export-import operations between January and November this year. Also, since the beginning of the year, the customs experts have issued approximately 92.5 thousand customs declarations. The largest revenue to the budget in January-November came from customs duties on the following goods: oil, vehicle bodies, tires, excisable vehicles and other motor vehicles, parts and accessories thereto, motors, integrated circuits, gas mixtures and telephones.

– One of the main objectives of the Ministry is to promote international trade by simplifying customs clearance procedures. We create such environment for conducting foreign trade, where the Ministry of income is a predictable partner for both citizens and businesses. These operating principles have been implemented within a year, since the President of Ukraine his decree merged by reforming the State Customs Service and the State Tax Service of Ukraine. The Ministry of income is the single authority which citizens or entities may collaborate with efficiently, and the controlling body – effectively perform their duties of the administrator – Serhiy Kharchenko, the Chief of the Chop customs said.
