In Transcarpathia, near the border, “green berets” detained another “seekers of happiness”

Last night, border guards of the Chop detachment, in the area of the department "Tisa" on the Ukrainian-Hungarian border, detained two illegal immigrants who were trying to enter the EU in search of a better life.

2 people of Asian appearance were detected and detained by a district inspector of the Border Guard Service near the highway "Chop-Uzhgorod", at a distance of about 3 km from the border line. The men were not carrying any documents, however, they explained that they were citizens of Sri Lanka.

Currently, the offenders were brought to the department of the Border Guard Service "Tisa" to establish the circumstances of the offense and to draw up the relevant procedural documents.
