In Transcarpathia, more money has been allocated for the maintenance of officials than for culture

In the first nine months of this year, local budgets of the region have spent UAH 5 billion 454 million. The largest amount was spent on education – UAH 1 billion 936 million, payment of children’s benefits and social protection of the population – UAH 1.6 billion, and on medical industry – UAH 1 billion 11 million. 182 million has already been allocated for the maintenance of officials, 177 million – for culture. Public media of the region received UAH 2 million 321 thousand. 35 million has been spent on physical culture and sports in the region.
