In Transcarpathia, military prosecutors helped the family of a killed soldier to receive financial assistance

Thanks to the military prosecutor’s office, in Transcarpathia, 609,000 UAH of one-time financial assistance was paid to the family of a soldier killed during the ATO 

The Uzhgorod garrison military prosecutor’s office, during the inspection of the regional military commissariat, revealed violations of the law on social and legal protection of servicemen and their families.

It was established that the family of a serviceman who died during the fighting in the area of ​​the antiterrorist operation had not been paid a one-time cash assistance.

In connection with the found violation, in February 2015, the prosecutors filed to court an administrative appeal to the Transcarpathian Regional Military Commissariat for the collection of one-time cash assistance in the amount of 609,000 UAH.

During the trial, the Regional Military Commissariat voluntarily paid the plaintiff a one-time cash assistance. Following the trial, the proceeding was closed due to voluntary payment of the cash assistance.
