In Transcarpathia, Hungarian tourists were rescued from the river

Last night, Transcarpathian rescuers received a report that three Hungarian tourists needed help.

While rafting down the Tisa river, their boat turned over, and all three ended up in the cold water. Fortunately, there was a fallen tree on their way and they climbed onto it.

Four rescuers were sent at the scene. They quickly took the tourists from the tree and accompanied them to the village of Vylok where twenty members of their group were waiting for them.

Tourists were very lucky, because due to heavy precipitation in the mountainous part of Transcarpathian region, water levels on the main rivers of the region have risen significantly, – the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region reported.
