In Transcarpathia, grenades and explosives were seized

Dangerous "treasure" was seized from a Khust district resident who had served at one of the checkpoints in Mykolaiv region.
 
Recently. officers of Transcarpathian police, during an authorized search in one of the residential buildings in Khust district, found and seized two grenades RGD-5 with fuses and a TNT bomb.
 
It was found out that these munitions and explosives were given to the homeowner for storage by his friend, a resident of Khust district. The latter testified that in late 2014 he had been a member of the self-defense group in Mykolaiv region. There, during the service at one of the roadblocks, he allegedly seized these grenades and explosives from unknown persons…
 
It is unknown whether his story is true, instead, it was found out that this resident of Khust had previously been held criminally liable for the illegal handling of weapons.
 
Currently, he was notified of being suspected of committing a criminal offense under Art.263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives). The circumstances of the case are to be established by the investigation.
