In Transcarpathia, foresters transferred their one-day salaries to support colleagues from the East

Employees of the forestry enterprises of Transcarpathian region shared their money with their colleagues from the South-East Ukraine by transfering their one-day salaries.

With the support of all labor collectives of forestries in Transcarpathia, UAH 600 thousand was transferred to support their colleagues in Donetsk Forestry and Hunting Husbandry Administration, UAH 200 thousand – to support Kherson Forestry and Hunting Husbandry Administration.

"We transferred the money because now the colleagues from the East need it more as the situation in these regions is critical. People need to live, support families and work every day to keep the forest industry at the highest level.In addition to salaries to employees, these funds can be used by foresters to buy necessary firefighting means," – the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Forestry and Hunting Husbandry Administration Valery Murga said.
